Day-by-day itinerary每日行程

  1. D1Arrive in Harbin · Central Street

Private airport transfer to hotel near Central Street. Afternoon exploration of Central Street: 71 European-style buildings along cobblestone streets, with a century-old ice cream from Màiděr Ice Cream Parlor—eating ice cream at -20°C is a Harbin tradition. Dinner at Huamei or Portman Restaurant for authentic Russian cuisine—borscht, beef stroganoff, and traditional bread. Evening visit to St. Sophia Cathedral: Byzantine domes against snow create a magical scene, especially when illuminated. Practical tips: Winter temperatures range from -15°C to -25°C—prepare with down jackets, snow boots, hats, gloves, and scarves. Keep phones warm to prevent battery drain. Accommodation: Harbin.

  2. D2Full Day at Ice and Snow World

Enter the park early to enjoy key attractions: the super-long ice slide (approx. 300m, 1-2 hour wait in peak season—your guide will help you skip the line), ice bikes, and snow tubes. Slide multiple times before dark. At 17:30, watch as hundreds of ice sculptures illuminate—blue and purple lights on the main tower and ice castle create a spectacular atmosphere. For the best view, ride the Ferris wheel to overlook the entire park. Food options inside the park are limited, so bring hot drinks for lunch and return to the city for dinner at a hot pot restaurant. Practical tips: Temperatures drop below -20°C—use multiple heat packs and warm up in heated shelters every hour. Bring extra camera batteries and keep them warm. Accommodation: Harbin.

  3. D3Travel to Yabuli · First Time Skiing

After breakfast, drive approximately 2.5 hours to Yabuli Ski Resort (the cradle of Chinese skiing, 1996 Asian Winter Games venue). Check in and collect your ski equipment. Enjoy a 2-hour private beginner lesson (2 students per instructor): learn snowplow stops, turns, and proper falling techniques. Beginners can confidently cruise the beginner slopes after just half a day. Dinner features local Yabuli farmhouse cuisine—braised chicken with mushrooms and sticky rice dumplings. After dinner, enjoy the hot springs or rest early. Practical tips: Bring ski goggles and sunscreen (UV reflection is strong on snow). Wear waterproof ski gloves. Falling is normal for beginners—hip and knee protectors are provided. Accommodation: Yabuli.

  4. D4Yabuli Skiing · Return to Harbin

Morning continues on the slopes: try intermediate runs or practice your turns with video coaching from your instructor. Non-skiers can enjoy horse-drawn sleigh rides through the snowy forest, snowmobile adventures, or snow tubing. Lunch at the resort. Afternoon drive back to Harbin (approx. 2.5 hours). Evening dinner at Laochang Chunbing or Oriental Dumpling King for a final flour-based meal. Practical tips: Ski within your limits—you'll be exploring the city tomorrow. Check for personal items before returning equipment. Tomorrow's schedule is relaxed, so you can enjoy a late evening. Accommodation: Harbin.

  5. D5Siberian Tiger Park · Laodaowai · Airport Transfer

Morning visit to Siberian Tiger Park: take a guided vehicle through the free-roam area to see hundreds of Siberian tigers walking in the snow—feeding time offers great photo opportunities (from the safety of the vehicle). Afterwards, explore Laodaowai's 中华巴洛克 (Sino-Baroque) historic district—a unique blend of Chinese and Western architecture from the city's commercial past. Lunch at local favorites like Zhangbao Pork Bun Shop or Lao Dingfeng Bakery. Afternoon transfer to Taiping International Airport (approx. 40 minutes drive). Practical tips: Book flights after 14:30 if possible. Recommended souvenirs include Hong sausage, traditional bread, and Qulin candies. If your flight is early, choose either the tiger park or Laodaowai to visit. Accommodation: None (departing tonight).
